Dishwasher Brands We Service

Our technicians are factory-trained and certified across all major residential and high-end dishwasher brands, including: Asko, Bertazonni, Bosch, Dacor, DCS, Electrolux, Fisher&Paykel, Frigidaire, GE, Jenn-Air, Kenmore, KitchenAid, La Cornue, LG, Liebherr, Marvel, Miele, Perlick, Samsung, Siemens, Sub-Zero, Thermador, Traulsen, True, Viking, Whirlpool, Wolf and many more.

We’re one of the few repair services in Oregon certified to work on Bosch, Thermador, and Miele dishwashers. These brands require specialized training most competitors simply don’t have.

Dishwasher Maintenance Tips

A few simple habits can extend the life of your dishwasher and prevent the most common repair calls.

Clean the filter monthly. Most modern dishwashers have a removable filter at the bottom of the tub. A clogged filter is the single most common cause of poor cleaning and drainage problems. Rinse it under warm water and reinstall. It only takes about two minutes.

Run hot water before starting a cycle. Turn on the kitchen faucet until the water runs hot before pressing start. This ensures the dishwasher begins its cycle with hot water rather than cold, improving cleaning performance.

Check and clean the spray arms periodically. Food debris can clog the small holes in spray arms, reducing water pressure and leaving dishes dirty. Remove the arms and rinse the holes clear with a toothpick or thin wire every few months.

Don’t overload. Overcrowding blocks the spray arms and prevents water from reaching all surfaces. Dishes should never nest together or block the detergent dispenser door.

Inspect the door gasket. A cracked or dirty door seal is a common source of leaks. Wipe it down regularly and look for cracks or deformation. A failing gasket is a much cheaper fix when caught early.

Should You Repair or Replace Your Dishwasher?

Dishwashers typically last 9–12 years. If yours is under 8 years old and the repair cost is less than half the price of a comparable replacement, repair is almost always the better value. Our technicians will give you a straightforward assessment, and we’ll never push a repair that doesn’t make financial sense.

Factors that favor repair: the unit is under 8–10 years old, it’s a high-end brand like Bosch, Miele, or Thermador, or the issue is a single component failure (drain pump, door latch, control board, spray arm, etc.).

Factors that may favor replacement: the unit is over 12 years old, the tub is cracked or rusted, or multiple components are failing at once.
